Our Motelling apprenticeship started in Taupo in 2000 at the Adelphi Motel. After 5 years the Adelphi was purchased by a family who wished to run it themselves. We returned to New Plymouth, our home town, at a bit of a loose end. In April 2008 we purchased the Business Interest in this motel to turn it around. We are a couple whose desire it is to make your stay a pleasant one, by being friendly and helpful.

Our Motel is the first motel entering the city from the south on State Highway 3. It is set back off the road ensuring a quiet stay with minimal noise. There is ample parking with room for large vehicles.

We are a short drive to the city centre and within walking distance to Pukekura Park, Bowl of Brooklands, Brooklands Zoo, Pukekura Raceway
and Taranaki Polytechnic. We are approximately 20 minutes drive from the North Egmont Visitors' Centre and a 20 minutes drive from New Plymouth Airport.
Various beaches and the Aquatic Centre at Kawaroa Park
are a short drive away.
